Are you an adult beginner violinist looking for a supportive and fun community to practice and learn with? Look no further! Our group is designed for adult beginners who want to improve their skills and enjoy playing the violin with others.

The sessions are focused on helping you develop your skills and confidence as a violinist. During the group lessons you can learn new techniques and practice pieces together with other adult learners in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

I understand that it can be intimidating to start playing an instrument as an adult, but I believe that with the right guidance and support, anyone can learn and enjoy playing the violin. Our group is open to people of all backgrounds and levels of experience, so whether you’ve never picked up a violin before or have some basic knowledge, we welcome you to join us.

Our practice group meets every Thursday at CUFOS, the only thing you need is your violin and motivation. Our sessions are designed to be flexible and accommodating, so if you miss a class, you can catch up with the recordings of previous sessions.

Join us and discover the joy of playing the violin with others! Contact us today to find out more and to sign up for our next session.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Teaching is about helping students discover their skills and find themselves in the process. As an educator, my goal is to awaken my students’ curiosity while giving them the necessary tools to solve problems in a conscious and efficient way. To start this process, we work on developing a strong body awareness to achieve proper posture of the hands and body. Daily practice is essential to improve and master the violin.

I believe in the importance of mindfulness and full consciousness in the learning process. Therefore, I adapt violin lessons to the individual needs of each student, incorporating components such as music reading, ear training, music appreciation, and music theory. My aim is to build self-confidence and creativity in my students while helping them develop a deep appreciation and understanding of music.

Thank you for considering me as your violin teacher. I look forward to embarking on this musical journey together.
